Tanning Tuesdays- St. Moriz Professional Tanning Mousse (Dark)

Image
Reminiscing on my early teens, there are a few distinct commodities that were vital to my existence: 1). My BlackBerry (miss you BBM) and 2). St. Moriz fake tan. Much to my mothers dismay I would lather this precious product all over prior to that months Clubland on a Friday, ruining my clothes, sheets and towels (see below for proof).  Luckily, over the years times have changed and I have started to take more care when applying tan (or have atleast learned how to do my own washing).  I had quite a love/hate relationship with this product. To be honest, I used it because its what everyone else used and it was cheap. Now that I earn my own dolla and don’t have to rely on ‘bank of mum’, I can prioritise my wages on buying whichever tan I please. Yet this month I’ve decided to go back to buying the cheap stuff after all these years. Why? Because I feel it deserves a second chance. Nothing to do with the fact I’m trying/struggling to pay off a hol or anything... ST. MORIZ

Tanning Tuesdays- Solait Express Tan Dark

Image
Following my previous review of the revolutionary Bondi Sands Ultra Dark Tan, I have chosen to review a tan that I have never before used. I chose the Solait Express Tan (Dark) as the next on my list of self tanning products to review after a lengthy period of ‘research’. This month I wanted to try a product that was cheap and cheerful, as I normally tend to opt for pricier tans because I feel they are more often than not, worth the spend. I am skeptical of cheap tans as I have had my fair share of the classic ‘Ross from friends look’ in which I resemble an Oompa Loompa, or sometimes I generally looked like I’ve been rolled in muck. So, with this Superdrug own brand product, I guessed it was worth a try and that I had nothing to lose really. If you have read my previous tanning review, you will know my standard application process. Shave and exfoliate in the shower, moisturise dry areas and then sit tight for an hour or so. Then, applying the tan with a mitt (as needed) and patting

Tanning Tuesdays- Bondi Sands (Ultra Dark)

This is the first of many intended ‘Tanning Tuesdays’ here on my blog. I’ve decided to write about all different types of tans available to purchase on the market, as I for one know it can be a daunting experience trying to achieve a ‘natural’, sun-kissed glow when in reality you’re a pasty little wannabe. I’ll admit that I have tried using sunbeds (which in fact did very little for me) and left me- a hypochondriac, anxiety ridden with the paranoia of getting skin cancer. SO, wisely I have decided to feed into my fake tanning obsession as a preferred method in remaining golden all year round.  Nonetheless, I will share what has become somewhat of a habit/hobby with whomever may be interested. The reviews will be posted on the first Tuesday of each month and will be brutally honest. Anyhow, without further adieu- here is the first of the year and first of the series- BONDI SANDS ULTRA DARK TANNING FOAM To kickstart my reviews is none other than my holy grail and my right

Zaful Review- IS IT LEGIT?

Image
IS IT LEGIT? http://www.zaful.com/ If you are a Facebook user, Instagram user or basically a female of any sort, you have probably heard of this brand or seen their advertisements in your feeds recently. I spotted this brand a few months ago on my timeline and due to lack of knowledge and downright ignorance I instantly assumed that it was one of these 'Ali Express' type companies, which could potentially be a scam site that never actually sends those eagerly awaited orders you once were so excited to receive, just to be let down. With that, I continued to ignore the site. UNTIL- I booked a holiday which basically, I couldn't afford and somehow this sketchy, cheap brand that I once doubted suddenly became a lot more appealing to my frugal eyes. I of course did my research on the brand and was initially reluctant to order from it as the reviews I had read were mixed (and I was a girl on a budget). So, I waited it out and totally forgot about the br
